1. Proč jste se přihlásili do projektu Otevřená věda Akademie věd ČR a co vás zaujalo na této stáži?
I thought that having hands-on experience with professional scientists during my high school years would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I believe that this internship will either help me expand or narrow down my areas of interest and contribute to the future career I decide to pursue.
2. Představte si, že jste vynálezci – co byste vynalezli a proč?
If I were an inventor, I would like to invent a method that will help humankind communicate with other creatures in this world - relating to the study of bioacoustics. This will contribute to an enhanced sense of empathy globally and various science fields will benefit from understanding more complex forms of nature and creatures that maintain the ecosystem. I would also like to invent a method to communicate with unknown living creatures in outer space or create a device that allows people to observe celestial objects easily without professional and heavy equipment.
3. Vaše záliby, koníčky:
I enjoy reading, especially science magazines like Skeptic and thriller novels. I also enjoy arts and crafts and meditating. In the near future, I would like to develop more active hobbies like jogging and yoga.
